My "why I can " list
- I am smart
- I am dedicated
- I am able to choose my attitude
- I have clear consise goals
- I choose my actions with awareness of what the outcome will be.
My "why I can't " list (with rebuttals to follow)
-I am too old
-I am too fat
-I am too sore
-I am too tired
-I don't have any willpower
-I am too busy
-I don't have enough $$$
-I am too shy and self concious
-I need to look after my family first
THE REBUTTALS
" I am too old"
BULLSHIT!!! You are as young as you feel! What is making you feel old? Age is just a #. It is your attitude that means more than your age.
"I am too fat"
Then what do you have to do not to be fat? Remember...NO THANK YOU, I WOULD RATHER BE THIN
" I am too sore"
What are you sore from? Sitting around? Lousy diet? Lousy bed? This is not an excuse for not doing it....it is a reason TO do it!!
"BE A PUSSY OR BE A FIGHTER....YOU CAN'T BE BOTH"
" I am too tired"
Put your armor on and go fight, screw tired, you can sleep later
"I'LL HAVE TIME TO SLEEP WHEN I AM DEAD"
" I don't have any willpower"
You don't need willpower.....YOU HAVE WON'T POWER!!!!
" I WON'T FAIL"
" I WON'T BE FAT AND UNHEALTHY"
" I WON'T SETTLE FOR SECOND PLACE"
" I am too busy"
make the time....you are worth it!
spend time on myself
" I don't have enough $$$"
a pell and a stick are all I need
eventually I will have $$$
"I am too shy and self concious"
MY PELL WILL NEVER LAUGH AT ME
I choose my attitude
I HAVE THE RIGHT
Nothing breeds confidence by success!
" I need to look after my family first"
My family won't fall apart without me...they are competant and capable people.
I am part of this family that I look after, so I need to look after me too!
