stupid scale.......

219lbs (I think that dratted scale is plotting against me.....)

My hands and ankles were very sore and swollen this morning, so I have not done my exercising yet. Got an adjustment from Dr. S., I feel somewhat better now. He told me to take supplemental Vit B6 to help reduce the swelling, so I am doing that. I will be doing my pell and Matt Furey this afternoon after my nap!

I have a rough idea about what I want to do for diet. It involves 3 meals and 2 snacks daily, measuring my portions (until I have an idea what a "normal" portion looks like), drinking lots of water (8-10 cups a day), eating whole grains, like brown rice (avoiding excessive bread and pasta), lean high quality protien (both animal and vegetable), lots of fresh vegis and fruit and moderate use of healthy fats like olive oil. I would keep sampling at school to a minimum as well as avoiding cafeteria food (and all deep fried, junky and fast food), I will also limit my coffee consumption to 1 large Tim Hortons coffee per school day. I will also continue taking all my vitamins.

I am trying to make this doable. I am soooo busy and tired that if I feel the least bit deprived it just won't work for me. I know myself that well....So I am leaving myself some small endulgences , and that I believe is the key to success with this. More on this tonight or tommorrow.
