Happy March Break to all!!!
Guess where I went...??? To school of course!!! I am working on a project and need a book that cannot be taken from the college....thus....an afternoon spent in the hospitality office squinting at little numbers and abreviations for sirloin tips, half chickens and the like....and that is not even the fun part!!! Then I have to take these numbers and use them to cost out all the recipes for my project. For example, my recipe needs 4oz of diced carrots and I have a listing for a 25kg bag of carrots for $15.87, how much does the 4oz cost? Each ingredient has to be done this way. If the recipe calls for chicken stock, then I have to price out a whole different recipe....you guessed it! homemade chicken stock, no cans or powders here!! Anyways, I got called into work tommorrow at 9am! Yay! more hours, more money!
gotta go number crunch!!!
....and maybe take an Advil....
