Hi!

I've been pretty busy, with work and school and running back and forth to the hospital and all...so I haven't been posting daily...so here is what is going on in my life!!!

School...I am so close to finishing I can smell it!!! Doing well, the test in Purchasing that I mentioned in my last post....94% ;o)

Work...lots! I have been working about 22 hours a week at Good News Cafe and 4 hours a week at the Chiropractors office, as soon as I am done all my classes, I will be full time at the Cafe. The extra money will be great and I am liking it there! There is a faint glimmer of hope for WW.....since most of the senior staff are really wanting to go to the Winnipeg Folk Festival (the same weekend as WW) they are toying with the idea of just closing the restaurant for that weekend...keep your fingers crossed on that...I'll keep you posted :o)

Home....okay I guess...a big lump of chaos really.....good and bad. James and Paul are well and so are all the kitties.

Dad....well he is in surgery as we speak to remove either fluid buildup in his lungs or dead tissue from his lungs....the former is preferable to the latter....as the latter involves more invasive surgery.

Diet ....not much to report here right now....just eating what we can afford to buy right now...I do try and eat a big green salad for lunch whenever I am at work.

Exercise....been doing more walking, my achilles tendon is still inflamed though...so it is painful going. My boss at the Cafe says she has a bike I can have, she is going to bring it in from her camp next weekend. So I will be riding a bike to work and all over instead of bussing it.

Fun...I get to go to a new restaurant this Friday!!!! All the staff from the Chiropractor's office are going to The Sushi Bowl....a new...you guessed it...sushi restaurant that recently opened...I LOVE SUSHI !!!!!!

I was recently at the Liquor Store and decided to buy myself a bottle of wine...I saw a bottle of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc with a name I couldn't resist...it's called "Cat's Pee on a Gooseberry Bush" !!!
It is actually very good!
