Happy Victoria Day!

Happy Victoria Day!

To anyone who has no clue what Victoria Day is about....here in Canada we have a long weekend to honour the late Queen Victoria (for whom the Victorian era is named) this is also usually the first weekend that people usually go camping, fishing season starts etc....so anyways...

I have had 3 days off! Wheee! I have cleaned my kitchen, added more shelves (yay!) and sorted through and packed away a whole whack of pictures that were gathering dust in the livingroom, Paul had the day off and has been cleaning and doing laundry all day. James has been mostly a sullen grumpy pre-teen and now he is out at his friends house. I went to see Nana for a while today, she will be 86 in a few weeks and she is doing great! My Dad has been driving me CRAZY!!!!! He is insisting that I bring him clothes to the hospital because they are going to discharge him any day now.....they are not...I spoke with the nurse tonight and she says they want a "family meeting" to *discuss* his discharge....so if I bring him clothes he will just try to run away again!

Back to work tommorrow, I am seriously flirting with going vegetarian again. I felt so good and so healthy and I lost so much weight without really trying to , and all the while eating really well...the reasons not to are gradually losing their power and the reasons to go ahead with it are becoming more compelling..stay tuned on that one...

I am in the process of making pizza right now, just waiting for the dough to rise.....mmmm pizza! :o)

later,

Bou :o)
